The formula to calculate the square footage depends on the shape of the area. For a rectangle or a square, you simply need to multiply the length and the width. For a circle, you need to multiply pi by the radius squared. If you don't have the radius, you can obtain it by dividing the diameter by two. For Triangles, you need to multiply the base and height and divide the result by two. Here are the formulas :
